EPISODE 348 “THE LOVE GUN TOUR"

This week Tom & Zeus review the 1977 Love Gun which was in support of their 6th studio album, Love Gun.

This is SIOL's 11th KISS tour reviewed. Love Gun was released on June 17, 1977 and the tour began on July 8, 1977 in Canada and ended September 5, 1977.

This is probably KISS at its peak. The band was still continuing to get bigger and better. This is before the solo albums, before the movie and before the major cracks began to take its toll.

The stage for the tour is probably the most famous, with the staircases and Peter's drum riser. The costumes are probably KISS' most famous as well. The setlist featured 5 new songs from Love Gun and many of the classic songs from the first three albums, including Deuce were dropped.

As usual, the guys breakdown the costumes, stage, set list and overall tour. They then rank the costumes, stage, set list and overall tour against the previous 10 tours reviewed so far.

So pull out your Love Gun and enjoy KISS at its peak and another great tour episode!
